VITA&mas oversees a large network of stores and clinics, with over 105 points of sale across the country. Since 1993, VITA&mas has also been at the helm of the GNC franchise network, with over 75 stores across Guatemala offering supplier of vitamins, supplements, and health products, expanding its reach to Chile in 2024. Arca de Noé is the largest pet store chain in Guatemala, operating since 1976, While Dana Veterinary Hospital offers exceptional care to thousands of pet lovers throughout the capital city.

Ensuring high service levels while maintaining the optimal inventory balance has become increasingly intricate challenge as the company grows. Committed to providing customers with a fast, efficient, and seamless experience, VITA&mas recognised the need for an advanced solution to optimise purchase orders while simultaneously managing optimal inventory levels.

With the ultimate aim of improving visibility across its product assortment, the holding company opted for Slimstock’s AI-powered planning platform, Slim4. The initial focus of the supply chain transformation project will be on improving the purchase process and achieving the right inventory balance throughout its distribution centres. VITA&mas will then take advantage of Slim4’s powerful planning capabilities to automate replenishments to stores.
